How The Out-of-State Process Works

Step 2: Receive Your Treatment Plan.

Please bring your child's medical records, including any imaging studies, as well as a list of medications and allergies. We also recommend bringing comfortable clothing and footwear for your child's examination. After your consultation, Dr. Jarman will provide a clear diagnosis and recommended treatment plan, including whether surgery is needed or if conservative care is sufficient.

Step 3: Confirm Insurance & Self-Pay Options.

If you're recommended continued care or given a surgical request our team will help you verify your out-of-state insurance coverage and provide transparent self-pay rates if needed.

Step 4: Book Your Trip to Chandler, Arizona.

Most families plan a 3–4 day stay. We'll work with you to schedule your appointment around your travel dates.

Step 5: Your Child's Procedure or Evaluation.

You'll receive individualized, unhurried care. Dr. Jarman will walk you through everything before, during, and after.

Step 6: Return Home With Remote Follow-Up Support.

Dr. Jarman's team will reach out via phone call 1 day after your surgery. Most out of state patients are required a 2 week post op appointment in office for a cast change and to check incision sites. We then coordinate with your local provider for physical therapy and ongoing care as needed.
