Achilles lengthening surgery treats tightness or contracture of the Achilles tendon in children. This tendon connects the calf muscle to the heel bone, and when it is too tight, it can cause pain, discomfort, and difficulty with walking.
Pediatric bunion surgery is used correct a bony deformity at the base of the big toe in children. It involves removal of part of the bone or realignment of the bones in the foot to correct the position of the toe.
HyProCure surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat misalignment of the ankle and hindfoot bones in children. It involves inserting a small titanium stent into the space between the ankle bone and heel bone to help correct the alignment of the foot.
Pediatric flat foot reconstruction surgery is used to correct a flat foot deformity in children. During the surgery, Dr Jarman may perform various procedures to restore the arch of the foot, such as removing a portion of the heel bone or transferring tendons.
